I Remember Now

By : Maggie jones

I am someone that is not alone in my struggles and my hardships, but when i get corrected, I struggle a lot with understanding things. But then, I remember how my parents love me so much and that they would tell me what I needed to do, what's right for me and for others. I listen to them because I don't want to make that same mistake again. I want to learn from it.

I also remember how my sister cares about me, and loves me. I know I will do my best to listen to them as I pay attention to myselfI need to take care of myself in order to help others.

I remember that I am who I am. I may be a person with autism, but I am human like you that is equal to everyone. I may learn and process things slow, and I may not understand what you are saying right away, but I have the same opportunities as anyone else.

I matter and I count in this world too. I believe I can achieve great things but taking one step at a time, and I believe I care about the world around me.

I have to understand that I may not be perfect, and I may not have that specific talent, but I am good at being myself with a caring, empathetic heart. I have to believe that I may be only one person, but I see myself doing the most good in trying to lead by example.

I know it is going to take patience and time to get the help I need. And to fully realize that I can achieve anything I put my mind to. I feel in my heart I will do the right things and lead with great passion for my work in what I do.

And if I fail, try again.

Be persistent. Keep going with accuracy to know it is good that you do for others by spreading words on paper or by mouth. Try. Trying is better than nothing at all.

So, let it start with today. With us. So we can build a brighter tomorrow..w the best of ourselves to the world we live in. We shine brighter than a star because we have a spark that never gives up hope for a better tomorrow.

So, let it start with today. With us. So we can build a brighter tomorrow.
