Biography
I’m a young adult that lives with Cerebral Palsy. I currently attend a program for 18 to 21 year olds called City Connections. This program helps people with disabilities transition into the adult world. It helps us explore work options for after graduation. I live with my parents, my two older sisters and my adorable service dog Hartman. My hobbies include listening to music, taking walks with my family, watching Hulu and Netflix, art and of course writing. Some of my favorite shows are Speechless, Riverdale and This is us. I really enjoy connecting with friends, whether it’s through social media or in person. I started writing when I was a sophomore in high School. Writing helps me express my thoughts and feelings to the world. One of the reasons I started writing was to educate people on disabilities. I want to give my readers a look into someone’s life that might be different than their’s. I also have a passion for art. I love to paint, most of my work is abstract. In addition to writing and art I’ve also started to do video work for a local college. I help them edit some of their sports videos. I really enjoy it and I’ve learned a lot since I’ve started. I think it’s important for everyone to have a chance to express themselves and tell their story. I’m so thankful I get to be a part of the Pittverse family and share my experiences with all of you.
