The Chef and I Catering is a food company that caters for every possible event ranging from formal weddings to casual barbecues.
The company is located in Brackenridge, Pennsylvania in my old school district of Highlands. As I am wearing one of my favorite sundresses right now, I am typing this because I wore it to several events sponsored by The Chef and I Catering.
The first event was my birthday dinner at Laube Hall in Freeport. The second event was the Taylor Allderdice High School and Colfax Elementary and Middle School
academic honors banquets at the Pittsburgh Shrine Center in Cheswick.
For my birthday dinner and the Taylor Allderdice High School academic honors banquet, the meal was herb-baked chicken breasts, drumsticks, and thighs, sliced baked ham with fruit sauce, penne pasta with the signature tomato and fresh basil sauce, the signature sweet and savory red potatoes, and brown sugar and cinnamon-glazed baby carrots.
For the Colfax Elementary and Middle School academic honors banquet, the meal was fried chicken, meat lasagna, smashed red potatoes, and sweet buttered corn.
Finally, The Chef and I Catering sponsored the annual Autism Connection banquet at the Pittsburgh Shrine Center in Cheswick. The meal was the Autism Connection’s preferred meal served every year: stuffed chicken breast with spinach and feta
cheese, chef-carved roasted top round of beef with horseradish and au jus, nests of angel hair pasta with choice of alfredo, tomato and basil, or garlic and oil, red potatoes with sweet onion and dill butter, and whole green beans with onion and bacon. All 4 meals were served with a tossed salad, rolls and butter, various snack-like appetizers, and a birthday cake/cupcakes/cookies for dessert.
The Chef and I Catering is the best company with the best food to plan for a special event and the company serves other venues in the Pittsburgh area besides the venues I just mentioned.
They are both inside and outside of the city of Pittsburgh. So, if you are looking for a company to provide the best food for a special event, The Chef and I Catering is just the company for you.
